Morning.

It's windy as hell out and raining too I think. I guess that means the lovely 60+ temps are going to be leaving us soon.

DD3 starts back up in music class this morning.

Other than that it looks to be a somewhat quiet day.

Fun? Eh. I think I finally am figuring out how take care of my new haircut so it looks something like was done in the salon, so that's something. Though it's only Wednesday, I have plenty of time to screw it up and go back to pulling my hair back so I don't have to style it at all.

Work is work, I'm late getting to it, so see y'all later. Hope I come back to some of the amusements that I read last night on the thread!

Morning
(((Winter))) sorry to hear the news, my thoughts will be with you

Biah I loved your idea. However, I have many many allergies, I would never voluntarily get an allergic rash for that. I may just drop him off at the snip dr one day.

DS#2's face is finally normal looking, allergic reaction is now over. I need to remember who has cats and who doesn't. I think I will put a star by their names in our phone list.

I have the same problem. With my hairstylist could come over every morniing and do my hair for me.

Mandaroo...that's a good email re: your dissertation, no? Are you ready?

Nothing much happening here - some schools were delayed 1-2 hours due to sever t-storms and high winds (prediciting 7-80mph winds).

Roo serious congrats to you...and just think at this rate you may not buy a single drink in Madison, because Tonya and I probably aren't the only ones who will buy Dr. Roo a drink.

Morning. Woke up off and on all night last night convinced the alarm was about to go off. Then it finally did. I'm glad that the kids are going to be working independently on their projects today so I can relax a little mentally (yes! already!!) Fun fun! At least it's Weds.......

I'm sorry I didn't have time to respond to the thread yesterday. I want to let Frankie and Winter know I'm thinking about you both and your families!!

Colleen/Clare Lena is precious!!!! What a happy baby!!

Oache I think I would have gone with "Baby got back" but that's just me. I don't know the other song about the fridge. (I'm assuming it really doesn't have anything to do with a fridge??)

Mandy WOOHOOOO!!!!! I can't wait to hear about that party once you turn it in for good!!!!

To everyone else- hope life is just great! Kids coming soon. *sigh* I really like them, I do. Just not so early in the morning.

Quick fly-by wave this morning:

Taking my car to the shop for the second time this week. I had a sensor go out in my dash panel for my gas gauge. While they were checking that the mechanic noticed my brakes were about to go out! Yes it's an 11 year old car and I have noticed it feel a bit odd when I would slow down and could hear the whine at times when I tapped them. So they had to order the sensor part for my dash and I let them fix my brakes that day. Today the part is in and I am dropping the old car off to get my gas gauge fixed. I don't want to spend that much money on it but it sort of helps to know how much gas is currently in the tank. Somewhat important information to know.

I have my days

Moe - re: Penny story. that is funny! My pup went crazy last Friday. DH's friend came over for a run and then was showing us some new thing he got for target practice or something. It was a life size picture of Osama Bin Laden. Megan saw it and started to growl and bark and pace....it was weird yet funny! She won't protect our house against robbers...but terrorists..she has us covered!

Heyas folks.

We finally have internet access at the house again, so hopefully I can start getting caught up on what's been going on with everyone. I've felt rather disconnected this past week.

Extra *hugs* go out to those who need them. I may not have seen who/where/why, but you guys know who you are.

Roo - Grats on the Dissertation props! You go, girl!

Claire - LOVED the baby Lena photos! She's such a cutie!

Odd Dog Behavior: When I was growing up, my dad never wore blue jeans. He was always in dress slacks. One day, for whatever reason, he put on dark blue jeans.

Our Lhasa Apso, Misty, who was probably 5 years old, saw dad in jeans and barked her fool head off at him for probably a good 15 minutes. She just knew something 'wasn't right'. We all thought it was pretty funny!
