Lots of posts in the other thread, but only one two-letter word here. Hmm...

I didn't run yesterday, but since my work has a delayed opening, I got in half an hour on the TM after I woke up today. If I have time, I'll do another TM run this evening. I haven't done a double in eons...

Ooof - lots and lots of snow here and it is supposed to be frigid the next several days. I can handle that through Saturday, but please oh please don't make me have to log my 18 miler on the tm.

Snow day here, so we all slept in. I'll hit the treadmill for 10 with tempo after 2-3 more cups of coffee. My work network is so crowded I can't get in. So I get to slack off and have a true snow day - at least for a while.

snow day number 2 here. I didn't do much yesterday. Part of a yoga routine before the kiddos decided to interrupt. It's ok though, I don't get to stay home with them very often. Hoping to hit the TM later today.

wow - yesterday's run was a FUDGING MESS. So, DOME was super hot..like mid 80s. I do my mile warm up...meh. Sweating quite a bit but that is to be expected right. Then 3 x 600 @ interval. Meh...not the speed I wanted but ok. 3 mile tempo...epic fail. Side ache, tummy issues, tunnel vision, wanting to die, disassociation with body, etc. I had to stop and get water during it but finished it way slower than I should have been running it at. I stopped...got more water and then quickly had to sit down because I was going to be ill: chills, dizziness, etc. After about 10 min I thought I was feeling better and could do a cool down mile. The second I stood up, I changed my mind.

Morning all! We've got a major slushfest kicking outside now that the ice is starting to melt by being covered by rain and warmer temps. I'll see how thing look by this evening and either get back out to the WSH or maybe, just maybe get a tempo run done on the TM.

Hi all - 6.4 mi or so in the books yesterday, plus about 2.3 mi in walking. I'd fly you all out to San Francisco if I could for a pleasant run - many of you deserve a break from old man winter's fury

Ugh, Brandy - hoping your next run goes a lot better

Not sure what I'll do today - probably get in some extended walking before I get to the ferry and then one hour at home of either yoga or strength training. We shall see

Sorry to hear about crappy runs. The roads around here are going to be coated with snow for days, and with the whipping wind it is well below 0 right now. So.... I had to hit the treadmill for my tempo run today. It wasn't quite sucktastic, but it certainly wasn't easy. Good thing I had 4 boys running around me to entertain me. 10 miles with 5 @ tempo (avg. 7:29 pace). Whew.

Moonie - I'd love to visit San Fran! Haven't been there in a long while.

Nice double, Bob!

I returned to the hills tonight at the first group run from our new location. However, since it's right across the street from the old store, the route didn't change :)

So, 6.5 miles in the warmer temps. No more rain, a bit of slush, lots of puddles. It was a good run.

The fitness trainwreck continues to hobble along. I tried to run tonight but the ankle was sore from unuse (it does better without gaps in training right now) and my digestive system isn't back to 100% so I did some powerwalking with incline and then lifted some dumbbells. I'll try to get in a double tomorrow with more walking + running. Ibuprofen tonight!
