Nothing for me today - not even a dog walk - headed into the office for an 830 am meeting and then had to do stuff when I got home this afternoon, so just didn't fit in.

Yo - interesting about the glucose test results - maybe a redo is in order w/longer fasting? I dunno, I haven't had that type of test in a long time. But even tho your mom got her diabetes under control, still could be genetics. Besides my Dad having it, I developed pre-eclampsia while pregnant with my son, so that adds on to my risk factor. As for diet changes...none. My numbers, while a bit elevated, aren't creeping up, so we are just keeping an eye on it. They aren't "High high", just over the recommended level so...keep testing and watching. I am on BP medication even though I am the most active out of all my siblings and am at a healthy weight. I went on them probably 10 years ago, while in my 40s. My dad had high BP as well. I always say because I was the last one born (9 years separating me and my next sibling), I got the crappy genes.

I did get my bike back today, so will be able to get back on that this week. :)

Zoj - thx for sharing your thoughts and experiences. 9yrs to the closest sibling?! Wow, how many? I am 2nd of out 4 and my DH is 1st of 4. For us both, the oldest and youngest is 7! I don't know what our parents were thinking lol!.

Cold is I guess getting better, not sure. I had to drive 4hours and 3.5hrs meeting so I didn't really have a chance to be feeling sick. After all that may be my remedy :) So absolutely nothing today again. I hope my body wouldn't think it would be the way going forward ;)

Short vacation time! (Stupid me, who blocked my calendar only after 10am tomorrow, instead of all day, my boss & team scheduled a meeting 6:30~8am. Ugh what a start of a short vacation.....
