Hi Merigayle!
No, it's an avulsion fracture. I was out pushing the baby on a beautiful Sunday, three miles from home, when I hit some weird divet or hole or imperfection in the cement, and turned my foot. I immediately knew it was bad. I tried to walk home and could not, so stopped a passerby to borrow a cell phone to call my husband to come pick us up. Went to the dr on Monday and he sent me to an orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday, who confirmed an avulsion fracture. Now, I'm on crutches and one of those really chic velcro shoes. I have another appointment this Friday and am hoping for him to say something like, "Wow! I've never seen anybody heal so fast or so well!"

The baby is great, thank you. She is 7.5 months already and started crawling backwards this week.
