Morning folks;

Today I should have stayed in bed. 8 out of planned 10 miles. Basically jogged/slogged it. Temp 71F, dew point 69F. Looks like this week is turning to crud.

I hereby declare this "No Big Earthquakes and No Hurricanes Making Landfall Day."

RA -- Still feeling the weekend? Ugh. You'll bounce back -- tomorrow, prolly. :)

Me -- Yesterday felt great in the 87-degree heat for some reason, and 4 of my 7 turned into an unplanned tempo at 6:43 pace. Have no idea where that came from, but I'll take it. One-hour spin last night at 17.7 MPH. Wet work today.

Good ones, all.

Finally laced up the running shoes this morning. Ug... still feelin' the weekend... Stuck with the neighborhood route. Good thing is the longer I ran, the better I felt, knocking out pretty nice negative splits. Still not sure I'm going to be ready to slog out a long run Friday or Saturday. 4.51m, 40:17:60, 8:56pace

Asics--keep putting one foot in front of the other. You'll get there!

chances--agreed.  Let's keep it a dull day.

BBS--impressive numbers!

fuller--enjoy the rest day.

Hey all- This weekend is my HalfMarathon event that we have been working on for almost a year and yes they are calling for Hurricane. Race is on no matter what the weather! RA - can you call off the evil running god and make sacrifices to the good running god? I can even burn an old pair of shoes if need be.

Today feels like a summer day but planning on 5 the trails with pup tonight. Plus lots of prayers while I run for clear skies this weekend. I already have many friends who I talked into volunteering calling me to say I owe them big time if they have to stand outside in a hurricane!
