8 miles for me in ridiculously cold conditions (28?F with wind chill at 17?F). I think I'll take tomorrow off to rest the legs for a race this weekend.

Enjoy your runs!

Hi all

I hope today was the last time until December that I have to say this...I ran in snow today. That's right, snow.

Ran in a pretty good snowstorm this afternoon. Snow covered the paved surfaces while I was out, making the route a bit slippery.

Took it easy given the hard run I had on Sunday, and the long run I had yesterday.

Legs felt okay.
Run Segments
I taught two yoga classes today, and did an hour of the stationary cycle.

Do any of you ever use a rowing machine? Since I'm cross-training for now, I'm a bit intrigued by it.

5mi easy. Stretched real good before and 20min of core and push-ups. Legs still feel heavy, but planning to try a tempo pace run tomorrow.

Fever, nausea, and the runs here....no actual running unless you count to the bathroom.

4.08 miles in cloudy conditions. 42:38. No hills, not a bad run. My knee felt OK, too. I still used ice after and my trusty roller. I'm hoping to avoid pain on my 6 mile run scheduled for Friday. I wonder if we'll run some hills...

Good workouts everyone. With the snow we had last night and probably more today, I think tomorrow will be a snow run. We had 10" at our house last night and this morning. Humph!

Amethyst, I hope you feel better soon!

I've also recently started trying the rowing machines at the Y. I've only tried it 3 times and did the pre-set 2000 meter workout each time.
