<p>Rainy here today and we cooled off a lot too!  Went from 80's to not quite 60!!!  And like Amy, too much to do, too little time, pretty much between now and Sun for me!!  Oh well!!</p>

<p>What else?!  Oh my neighbor told DH yesterday that he found a buyer for his house.  He basically told DH there were 2 offers that were pretty much identical but one was a nice couple with 2 young kids and he thought they would be great neighbors for us.  I thought that was really kind of him and I really hope he is right!!!</p>

I've been trying to plan our travel for the rest of the year.  That includes a vacation at the beginning of August, a wedding at the end of August, and potentially a marathon (in Utah?) in September.  Dang, airfares are expensive right now!  I keep hearing that the airlines are losing billions of dollars.  Maybe nobody's flying becuase the fares are too damn expensive! </p>

<p>Just finished my radio interview.  It was really fun.  I forgot to take a business card so I'll have to e-mail the presenter and see if he can send me the audio file.</p>

<p>Otherwise, it's the last day of class.  I have a review session, a final lecture, and one last set of office hours.  Both classes have their final exam on Friday.  I cannot express how happy I am that this semester is >< to being over.</p>

<p>Tomorrow night is the string ensemble pot-luck and final performance.  We're only playing for ourselves, and the food should be good.  I do need to tidy up the house tonight in preparation.</p>

<p><strong>More fun:</strong>  I've done Zumba for the last 1.5 weeks (4 classes so far).  In addition to running and eating clean.  My clothes are already fitting better.  No.lie.</p>

<p>I love cute babies!  That bib looks ginormous on <strong>AK</strong>, but she sure is a cutie.  And <strong>Colin</strong> is so adorable.  You may be getting a major arm workout when you pick him up, but he looks so happy and healthy.</p>

<p>I haven't gotten clips yet from the last two days, and I need to e-mail the guy this morning about getting the audio clip.  I'll post them when I get them.  I've always wanted to be on TV (I've practiced my Oscar acceptance speech every year since I was 12), but I really believe that it's important to share my knowledge about the world and current events with others who don't have the time to look deeper into the news headlines.  I really want my own show, but I'm willing to settle for my own segment.  If I knew I could make a permanent career out of this, I would totally pursue it, though I really don't want to give up teaching.  When I don't want to kill my students, it's very rewarding.  Also, I have a face made for radio.</p>

<p>I called in sick today. I needed a mental health day, and I have too much costuming stuff to get done to do it after work.  So...I'm taking the morning to myself (had breakfast, latte, watched Glee and Ferguson on the DVR), but I'm planning to get out soon and do some stuff.  Maybe a nap later before I head to rehearsal.</p>

<p>Last night, I went to a book reading.  Rob Sheffield, who wrote the memoirs Talking to Girls about Duran Duran and Love is a Mix Tape.  LOVED the books;  my coworker/associate director is friends with the author (in fact he's a whole chapter in Duran), and I met him there, so he introduced me to the author.  Totally fun night.  My coworker is the one I was worried about meeting with last week.  I really like him, actually, and having had our meeting and knowing it was ok, I like him even more.</p>
