Good morning everyone. I usually have Wednesday for a rest day, but I am switching My Thursday workout for today. 8 X 60 sec hills this morning. I hope I have enough time for all of it though.

Fishbowl for me. Usual 2500m. Threw in two sets of 10x50's, 20sec rec. Actually, the second set was better than the first.

Too tired to get to the gym this morning. Motivation is ebbing fast as my ankle woes are re-occurring. Anyway, hoping to get some miles on the work TM or hit up the indoor track after work.

In other news; it appears that my car will be in the shop for 2-3 weeks! New driver's door and respray of surrounding panels to match the color. Great! At least I was given a decent rental car.

4boysmom - Glad your hand is not broken. Does swimming make it hurt ?

BBS - you have one crazy work schedule. Enjoy the shake and bake.

kfuller - have fun with those hills.

The hill work is done. It was not as tough as I thought it would be. Ran 1.5 miles around the neighborhood. Then found a nice steep hill to do 8 X 60 sec. hills with 3:30 rest between. paces were.

8:00; 7:44; 7:41; 7:34; 7:35; 7:33; 7:36; 7:31 These were all pretty consistent except for the first one. Don't know what happened on that one. Overall it was a good workout.

Hi guys. I got a 50 minute run in this afternoon.

Kevin, I wouldn't worry too much about the first repeat. That first one should always be the slowest anyway. Nice job.

Excellent on that early morning motivation Kevin, BBS and 4bm. I'm definitely NOT in that early morning workout club lately.

RA, hope that ankle feels better soon for you. You too chances!

Chances - Nice going. For me, it's the same posterior tibial tendon issue caused by spraining my ankle over Christmas 2009. There is scar tissue and it flares up.

Jill - nice job on the Garmin free run

Kevin - the 1st interval is the hardest. Nice effort.

I hit up the work gym for a TM run. I discovered that I didn't have my headphones so the run became a 1hr progression. Made it in a hair under 8 miles. I first walk, then jog, then increase my running pace from recovery to 5k in 1/2 chunks. Felt OK. Not Hawk like yet but I'm getting there.
