Less than 3 weeks until Christmas holy cow! This year went so very fast for me...I can't believe it's nearly over.

Not sure what to do today...I think I may come home after getting practice set up and go snowshoe around the trails behind the school for a while. We got about 4 inches of powder yesterday so now we've actually got a lot of snow on the ground, especially since I'll be trailblazing back there. Making the first tracks is the best part!

Have a great day and stay warm you northerners.

Snowshoeing sounds great, Alex. It's one of the things I miss most about the frozen north, and I'm looking forward to making some tracks in a few weeks.

Rest day for me today. I'm planning a nice hot tub soak, some foam rolling, and stretching.

16 on TM this am - Was a little short on energy - Trying to lose weight and should have eaten 600-800 more calories yesterday or before the run.

I was a sweat factory - lost 8 pounds on the TM running slow.

16 miles on the TM, eh? Never again for me. Never. You've got guts there.

6.27 miles slow in the cold. Snow on the way. Temps down near 0f. Hills.

Grizzly - Nice run - I will be outside again tomorrow - It was too slick today - I do not mind poor conditions for 6-8 miles maybe even 10, but today called for 16-18 depending how I felt.

I just hope it doesn't snpw 4-6 inches Saturday night, I have 18-20 for Sunday and TM does suck.

8-miles and change this morning. One of those windy mornings when you sweat while it's at your back and freeze when it's in your face. 16-miles on the treadmill? Gaak! I mean, wtg!

Mike I busted out the snowshoes today...not my X-mas ones but the ones we had lying around and it was ridiculously tough. Maybe they aren't running snowshoes but either way I'll ahve my work cut out for me running in those. I'm guessing after a while they become easier to use.

Well only 10 minutes of snowshoeing and I called it quits, I'll hop on the treadmill for 5 tonight.

There's a few days around here that warrant snowshoes, but not many. I'd like have a pair.

Tonight's run: 28F, winds 17, feels like 14F at 5pm. A lot colder than California, but not bad once going.

7.5 miles easy, 61 minutes. There was a good dusting today, but I ran some better maintained roads.
