BBS hasn't beaten me to starting today's thread yet...I think. So here goes

Fishbowl for me in the early morning. Coach worked with me on stroke technique today so it was all drill work for me today. I have no idea what the distance was but I'm going to call it 1000 yards and leave it at that.

Happy running, walking, swimming, biking...have I missed any activities?

Me -- Did an hour in the pool followed by an hour on the 'mill yesterday. Left me dehydrated, starving and exhausted. Love it! Bike and weights today.

BBS - have fun with the speed work.

Chances - DW is always "starving" after swimming.

Hawk - you missed rowing and ellipticating.

I managed a complete slogfest this morning. I was tired, sore, from stupidly doing squats yesterday, and just generally feeling off. I decided that my stomach would not handle RedBull (the healthy sugar free variety) or coffee or a banana. So, headed out into the mist on water alone. Since my legs were not working, I thought about maybe cutting the planned 8 miler it to 6. I kept going then decided to go to the 9 mile turnaround. Then at the 9 mile turnaround thought, hey I still feel like complete shit, I'll go to the 10 mile turnaround. Finished with exactly 10 miles, after jogging to the end of the block to save Chances' sensibilities. One of those runs where normal recovery pace feels fast... I need a nap and a complete body transplant.

Yes, I am always STARVING after a swim!

Flyby as I have to leave for work in about 30mins. Just got back from a run and need to shower. The hound also needs a bath. 55*, sunny and HUMID!!! I really could have gotten by with short sleeves. Normally I don't run two days in a row, but the swim thing just wasn't working this morning and didn't want a rest day today. Mix of neighborhood routes giving me 6.39m. Certainly was feeling yesterday and was just plodding with an 8:55pace.

Nothing for me today. Total rest day except cleaning around the house. Nice job on all the workouts today. Looks like the gunk in the air cleared out for a few days. I may just go run outside tomorrow. Have a great day everyone.
