Anybody out there? Hello?

Great fall weather in Northern VA today, and a great day to knock down a double. 7 miles at lunch, and another 5 or so this evening at home. At least that's the plan.

4boysmom - nice job on the track, bar the counting.

Hawk - have fun with the daily double.

Planning on 5 miles over lunch. I wish we had 40s in the morning... this warm front will break on Monday. It is great weather in general but too warm to call it "perfect" marathon weather, as the coach of my old track club seems to think.

5.5 miles over lunch. Felt terrible w/ heavy legs. The fact that it was 77F, sunny and hence boiling hot, even shirtless, compared to recent weeks didn't help. So, the forecast is looking less than ideal for Saturday. My old track couch STILL thinks the weather is good for the marathon. I think she's looking looking at the wrong forecast. 57F at the start, which will rise 15-20F by the time I finish.

kfuller - amazing what a day can do...
