<p>Hope the TCM folks are feeling strong and ready.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Little miss evil for me this morning, and I will probably run drills with DDs soccer team this afternoon.  Always good for a laugh!</p>

<p>4 x half mile repeats last night.  First 2 at GRP and the next 2 faster.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>First 2 I aimed for 8:45 and got 8:47 for both.  Second 2, 8:19 and 8:11...that is fast for me people!</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The last one felt the bestest!</p>
<p> </p>
<p>weather is looking so perfect for this weekend!!</p>

<p>Don't know what my paces were last night (just my times).  Guess I could figure it out.  The directive from Coach was "give 100% effort every time" for the 400s and the 50m striders. </p>

<p>All of my 400s were between 6:30 and 6:46 pace with the final two at 6:38.  Now if I could only hold that for longer than a quarter mile!  <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/lol.gif" style="width:15px;height:15px;" title=""></p>

<p>Humid 7 this morning.  More of a struggle then I would have liked.  25 sec per mile slower then I ran it two weeks ago, and this felt like more of an effort.  And looking at my log, in prior years, I have run this loop up to 2 mpm fast - holy schnickies I am out of shape.</p>

<p>Good luck to anyone traveling out of the northeast tomorrow - weather looks hideous.</p>

<p>I got 7 miles done this morning with 2 of them at MP.  Felt pretty good.  It was supposed to be a dress rehearsal.  I'm having race clothes issues.  I'm definitely NOT complaining about the forecast, but I'm struggling with what to do.  Looks like temps will be about 36 at start and probably about 50 by time I'm done.  So I'm trying to decide if I go with capri things to keep my quads warmer, or stick with shorts.  I don't want to be too warm.  I doubt I would be too warm in the capri things, but they make my ass look big.  <img alt="" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif" title="">  And I can't find my arm sleeves.  I just had them on Sunday and they are no where to be found.  Uggggg.</p>

<p>Morning. Tough workout last night. Just a plain 8 mile tempo run. Got it done in just over 53:00. 12.5 total. Did I mention that I'm enjoying this cool weather?</p>

<p><strong>PC</strong> - What's your plans for pace-wise? You remember the monster hill at mile 2 right? Do all your Cliff Pacers run the same start slower style? I'm debating whether to hang with the 3:40 pace group through the first 5k.</p>

<p><br><strong>Baggs</strong> - I stayed w/ 3:40 pacer at TCM in 2008 and 2009.  They were both fast for that pace.  From my runningahead log for first 5 miles:</p>

<p>2009:  8:07, 8:14, 8:09, 7:58, 8:05</p>

Nice running out there folks!!  I've been slacking.  First taking note of the twingey shin, then trying to avoid getting sick.  But tonight I'm heading out for 2-3 easy miles right after work.  It's a gorgeous day!  Then I won't run again until Friday or Saturday, depending on when I get to MSP. </p>

<p>I find it hard to believe that anything can make Cindi's ass look big. </p>

<p>wha? monster hill at mile 2?  36 degrees at the start? That's colder than I thought it was going to be. I'm wearing my handy dandy running skirt with the nifty pockets that I'll fill with GU and Clif Shot blocks and a mini tube of aquaphor - talk about making my ass look big!!  And I have a warm up throwaway jacket and arm sleeves, but the Mayo singlet is reallllly thin. I'm gonna be wearing that throwaway until mile 10!  And I think I need to take up the singlet an inch in the shoulder straps, it's a little loosey goosey on me.  Lots of bra showing. </p>

<p>and yes big hill coming out of downtown behind the Walker art center.   It is steep but short.  Takes a lot of people by surprise.  Watch for Alan Page at the top!</p>
