Hi Gang,

rip - it sounds like your entire day is a w/o. What do you need a gym for?

tw, too bad about the lightning cancelling your plans. Get 'er done today?

10 mile run for me this morning, 8 at tempo. Overall pace 8:07 - not as fast as I'd like, but I had to scale it back due to the H&H. Sneakers were going squish, squish after I finished. <ksrmode> They're drying out in front of the fan now. </ksrmode>

What's up witchoo?

Great thread title, Mike. One of my favorite lines from one of my favorite movies. That, and "put the candle BACK!"

Here's a big hug and wave to everyone here.... I'm running a decent amount lately but still nothing else much allowed. PT twice a week for my arm, and the gentle range of motion exercises I do there totally exhaust me. It's good. :) Work's been good too, averaging about 15-16 hours a week at the running store. Can't complain at all!

Hi all....took the day off work & went hiking. Nice tempo run Mike. Thanks for the Garmin tip, I've noticed the same thing about mine too, that & it seems to charge better when plugged into the USB port instead of the wall. Doesn't make sense but thats Chinese technology for ya.

Have a nice trail run TW....(hey I had a call from some folks in Knoxville that I did some work for when they lived in Oregon)

Yup. Just in time for my next surgery, in two weeks... but after that, I should be golden. :)

Hi TW and Johnny!!

Thought I'd do another repeat of my 5K course that I'm planning for a company race in Sept. Back of the leg behind the knee decided to seize up at about a half mile... inner lower hamstring/upper calf. This isn't related to the calf tear, and I thought it had been easing off over the last day or so, but now I'm baffled. Same thing happened about 3 years ago (PT called it a medial hamstring strain), but I was upping my mileage significantly then, which certainly isn't the case now. Walked back and did a bit of hip strength work and had a nice long stretch. Not sure where to go from here.
