Wow.... really? Where is everyone? Out having fun, I hope.

Great run as usual, ksrunr. I sure don't envy you your conditions with the wind, and later the heat...

Rip, maybe you should start from the low end of the difficulty scale, and work up to where it feels right. Just a thought...

We're having beautiful weather this weekend, with temps in the mid to upper 50's, sunshine and melting runoff everywhere! I got out for 10.5 miles today, took an easier route (thanks to the bikepath being all cleared off!) so not so hilly. Kept the effort easy, and the overall average was 8:31 for the whole run. Got a little harder up the hill the last two miles, but not bad. And I'm not coughing so much, so that's good! Tomorrow's plan is 20... we'll have to see how that goes.

No race today, no run today.

Most of the day was spent clearing up the back garden and raking the lawn.

We celebrated the opening of trout season with a lovely BBQ fish dinner, but without the traditional fiddlehead side dish, since its been too cold for them to sprout yet.

Am planning on my longest ever LR torrow morning.

Good luck on the long run tomorrow Heme.

Erika, I remember doing level 12 or 13 last year when I was on the eliptical so I started at 10 but had to work my way down to 7. Seems that eliptical was a little more difficult. I did another workout this evening on the "easier" eliptical and it was a big difference. Ended up with an hour 33 minutes today in two workouts.

10 miles for me this morning, sunny high 30's when I started, near 60 a couple hours later. Ran the first 6 with a friend who is a seasonal runner and just picking it back up again. When I ran with her last year, she was quite a bit faster than I. We are more evenly matched pacewise now. It was a very enjoyable run, talking the whole way of course, followed by an afternoon of yard work and some phone time with my dear brother.
