Nice run Ribs. Almost three hours on your feet in high 80's is impressive. Out of curiosity, how and when do you hydrate?

As promised mariposai, here's a recap of our Peruvian dinner last night. First and foremost, the next time you're in Portland, you must visit Andina. From the location, atmosphere, service, and quality of the food, this is definitely one of the best restaurants in town. We had a magical evening. The ceviche was outstanding, one of the best I have ever had. The dinner menu has both tapas and main courses, with the entrees split into traditional or nuevo-Peruvian styles. We both selected a traditional dish, with Mrs. Labduck choosing lamb, and myself going for beef. They were both simple yet flavorful and complex. Neither one of us has had anything like these before. I of course ate all of mine, with Mrs. LD taking half of hers home. That means I'll get to eat that one too. And for dessert, I had Plato de Crema Quemada (three pots of creme brulee each highlighting a distinct Peruvian flavor), and Mrs. LD had Mousse de Valley Selva, which is layered tiers of chocolate (two kinds) and espresso mousses and meringue. Heavenly!
