Hey gang! Ok...I talked to some of you about the Cabot Trail Relay when I was in Philly and you thought it was a cool idea. I've also had interest from a few others, like 2oh, Korbel and DrFAL. So I'm putting this out there again.

If anyone is interested in putting in an application for the 2008 Cabot Trail Relay, please let me know and I'll go ahead with it. The deadline for applications is Dec. 12. Not everyone gets in, they cut it off at something like 66 teams. You won't have to organize a thing, other than yourself. I'll take care of things on this end (such as van rental, hotel booking, team stuff, cookie baking, etc.).

It's a real blast, I've done it the past few years (except last year when I was pregnant and due at any moment). I know you guys would have a lotta fun. And I bet our team would be a contender (except any leg I do...hee hee!).

So if there's any interest, please post here or email or pm me and we'll go from there. We'd need 17 runners (unless some of you are keen to do more than one leg). And there's some wicked mountains in there, so some of you would need to be ready for that.

I am interested...but I'd have to get a permission slip first. Let me work on that over the next week+. I'd also be up for more than 1 leg - the nastiest carp u can throw at me...but I don't want to be selfish especially since we could get a few more of us involved. I'll be coming off a full mary and hopefully gearing up for a mountain runS at that point.
So I'm fully ready to not yet commit.
It also might be difficult to justify going that far to run 1 leg...we'll see. Never been to NS before...

Thanks

I might be interested but I think that weekend is the last one of school so I wouldn't be able to get in until Fri evening (we can't take the last day of school off!) I could do a later leg, I guess?

Let me know what you think about the possibility of coming in Fri night.... Or is it pushing it too much?

Sad to say, no can do on this one I'll be helping out my Dad with putting out the program for a big cultural event here for whom he is the chairman. It really looks like a blast, however - one of these days...

Awwwww craps, looks like this falls on the same weekend as both the Vermont City and Madison marathons. I'm thinking that will be my 2nd spring race in '08.
