Interesting! That seems to be a fancy stadium for a high school - and only 4 lanes. The people all look well dressed, and much thinner than today's crowds. I'm guessing the racial profile of a track meet in Washington D.C. would be much different today as well.

Very cool pic. I was thinking the same thing about the crowd. I don't see any beer bellies.
