This morning at 8:00am I had a lower tooth extracted. I'm having a bridge to replace it.

The procedure went relatively well although they didn't quite numb me enough at first and had to numb me again to finish the job. The dentitst prescribed some vicodin and said to be sure and begin taking them before the novacaine wore off. So around 10:30 I took two. The site had a dull, throbbing pain from then until after I left work a little after 4:00 but it was bearable.

Once I got home I took two more. Within 15 minutes I had no pain and felt like I could eat a steak with no problem. Anyway I simply had some soft scrambled eggs and then went to bed and slept from 5:30 until 9:00 when the cat woke me up. My mouth still feels fine. Not sure how I'll sleep tonight as normally I go to bed at 10:00 but I'm not sleepy now.

Pretty confident I won't need the vicodin tomorrow but it was great stuff getting rid of the pain this afternoon.

I can take those bad boys off your hands if you aren't going to take any more of them.
Shhh...still got a few left from DS and DD wisdom teeth extractions. I like to keep them on hand for my nasty migraines that pop up now and again.
