Are in. They're putting them on their website on February 8 but if you applied they sent out emails today. And the bad news is my wife and I didn't get in. We were going to do the two person with me running the whole way and her doing the second half. So I'm in as a full marathoner but she's out. If anybody here gets in as a two person and loses or needs a partner (preferably in the 2:00:00 half marathon range) she'd make a great team mate.

www.runvermont.org

Sorry to hear that you didn't get in. My running partner and I got in and we actually found out last Sunday night when they charged her cc so we knew a little early. I was planning to run the full marathon if we didn't get in and I'd still like to but I'm committed to running the relay for my RP - how do you work it so that you can run both? I ran the full last year and it's such a great race!

Good luck. I'll let you know if I hear of anyone who needs a partner.

A full marathoner can run in either the two or five person relay. Just do the first leg. That was our plan. I'm already registered in the full and my DW isn't ready to do the full since she's getting over tendonitis.

Now we're looking at the Lake Placid Marathon - Half Marathon for her three weeks after VCM.

I didn't get a 2 person relay team either (DH and I wanted to run as a team) - it's at least the 2nd time I've entered and not been selected.

I could have a slot on a friend's 5 person team, but I'm leaning towards registering for the full...

Decisions, decisions...
