So I let Paul's daughter use my car for the past few months and she is going to give it back to me on April 11th. Which I was looking forward to because I want to use it when the warm weather hits. She stopped by today and I went outside and saw my car. She hit something with it and the light on the left side is gone. The hood is all scratched up and there is a small dent near the hood on the side panel<img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> Of course I am not happy about it. I went inside and asked her about it and she said "Oh, I hit something when there was snow on the ground. I panicked but don't worry I am going to get it fixed for you." It is going to cost about $1,000 to fix it. I can tell just by the damage that was done. Yes, we could go through the insurance company but then my insurance will go up. I am not sure what will happen<img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif">

I've never let anyone but my mom drive my car. My car gives me independence and takes me everywhere I need to go.<br><br>
Can it still be driven until you get it fixed?

Yes it can. It is a 1998 VW Cabrio. I bought it as a "fun" car last year. I thought it was safer than a motorcycle<img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"> It was just sitting in my driveway and I wanted to make things easier for her. Oh well, I will just have to wait and see what happens. I know she has good intentions of paying to get it fixed but I know she won't be able to afford it. She doesn't have a sense of what it will cost...
