Interesting article. Some surprises. I often wonder how good of an idea it is to publish such data. I would assume that major terrorist organizations already have access to this data and we aren't telling them anything they don't already know. But what about the amateur or low level terrorist? This information could give them some ideas they may not have come up with on their own.

Here is the article: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0304092842.htm

I think this guy from Univ of AZ doesn't really understand what terrorism is. What's the terror value in threatening Youngstown, OH? Terrorism is about symbolic gestures of violence to instill fear. Hence the attack on the WTC, not some bridge in Connecticut.

I am surprised we are a medium risk city.

It might be because of the Wright-Patterson Air Force in nearby Dayton.

Or, more probably, the terrorists envy our chili.

I believe they do. It's the way you cut the meat.

(btw, whoever originally posted this song is brilliant. I emailed it to my DH when he was away skiing, and he and his buddy cursed me for a week b/c they couldn't get it out of their heads)

Hey, there are only 4 bridges in CT that span the Connecticut River. It'd cripple travel in this state to have one of those gone.

It's just a statistical representation of the money grab for city managers to get federal funds. Nothing new.

I think it's pretty safe to say that most CT drivers are already crippled in their skillz on the road.

Well probably the reason for Darby, Montana not being on there is because of the speed trap in the middle of town, I am sure they would get caught there.
It will be interesting to see what kind of group will take responsibility for this action.

Haven't military recruitment centers been attacked in the past?
