The missus called from the Children's. He's been seen by specialists and essentially he'll be going under the knife tomorrow, but first they have to get another CT scan and make a determination on what they're seeing in his blood work.

His left lung is at <25% and he's on O2 and an IV. His right lung was showing signs that it might collapse as well, and that's what they're looking at with the other CT scan.

He'll be in for 4-5 days.

The reason for the collapse: "He's tall and thin. Gravity and the lack of abdominal fat has the lower lung pulling on the uppper." That's it, that's all. Oh, and his twin has to have a CT scan too, he's even taller and thinner - but that's not an essential right now.

They're going to do this by scope and several incisions. They will essentially stitch his lung back into place. Not sure what we're worried about on the blood work, the missus is trying to find out.

Anyhow, thanks all for the thoughts. Will keep you posted.
