So, in my brilliant planning, I had four meetings scheduled for today. I never try to go over three, just because it wipes me out and leaves me not enough time to do my work work. I have been dreading this all morning.<br><br>
Within about one minute, I found out that two key people are out sick today (with some kind of kick butt flu, which I pray doesn't touch me). But the upshot is that I got to cancel not one, not two, not three, but all four meetings!<br><br>

Wow, four meetings called off sounds like heaven! But, four meetings on a Monday? That's hell!!<br><br>
Unexpected gift here? Warm, spring thunderstorm this morning. I love waking up to thunder! (even though it knocked out my network and I had to race in to the office to reset everything!)

Yeah, I was kind of an idiot when I scheduled them all.<br><br>
Poor TG couldn't stay snuggling in bed during the thunderstorm!

Breakfast for the teachers this morning! I got some fresh fruit and orange juice! I'm just saying no to the krispy kremes though.

An old friend sent me a "Comfort Food" cookbook....the kind they sell on PBS during pledge drives!

And on top of my meeting cancellation gift from heaven, it's spring break, so there was hardly any traffic today. And because the traffic was so light, even though I should have been really crunched for time, I had enough time to stop for good coffee (unfortunately not enough time to get to Tricia's shop for her good coffee, though).

my two hour meeting this AM only took 25 minutes AND I did not come away from it with any additional work. the meeting gods are smiling today.
