I, actually, was thinking about this last week. I have a guilty pleasure that only a few of closest family and friends know about. Of course, I include you in that circle of friends...now.

I enjoy watching What Not to Wear. I find that Stacy London is strangely sexy and I like the way that her and Clinton Kelly "gang up" on the poor fashion-challenged souls. Once, I spent an entire Sunday afternoon watching a marathon of back episodes.

Why is this a guilty pleasure? Well, what red-blooded, heterosexual, former military, triathlon dude is supposed to like a clothing show hosted by a gay guy and a stuck-up fashion diva? Needless to say, I don't talk about this pleasure at parties and other social gatherings!

I <heart> What Not To Wear!!!!

I like the trashy Bachelor spinoff shows on VH1 -- Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, I Love New York. They're like train wrecks... I just can't stop watching them!

Over the last few years when I've been able to sit still long enough AND there's no good sports on TV, which might've happened once a month at best...

Gossip Girl - though only saw twice, but there's a really cute girl on that show
One Tree Hill - used to watch every chance I could get, about once every three weeks
The OC
This one other family show (can't remember the name) staged in a tiny town in Colorado. One of the character's names was Ephram. Another Juilia.

Why? All of these have a theme. Cute girls. High school theme (I loved high school and led a life similar to the characters minus the money).

Yes. I was. Sort of. I enjoyed the show but didn't watch it enough to catch the theme running from episode to episode. But with a show like that, you can miss three or four and still be somewhat plugged in. So I miss it but, truth is, didn't know they canceled it until many months later when I realized, 'hey, how come The O.C. isn't on anymore.'

Ramsay is great. I'm not embarrassed liking that.

Thor, no wonder you don't like t.v.

I'm embarrassed when I get caught up in watching something for a whole day. A couple nights ago, after the kids were asleep DH comes up to find out what I'm laughing at. I had been sitting watching America's Next Top Model. Some Marathon. (Carrie Dee won) I had never seen the show, it was funny. I don't think it was supposed to be funny but I laughed myself silly. I will also admit to getting sucked into marathons of Project runway, Flavor Flav and Biggest Loser...Can't stomach New York...

I refuse to be embarrassed by my soaps. What other show can you not watch for 5 years and then tune back in and still know Carly & Sonny are going to be fighting and Luke & Laura will blow through town any day. Nor will I be embarrassed that I still hold out hope for Frisco & Felicia.

Dude, I can relate. My wife and I (had to throw the wife reference in there) watch "What not to wear." I TIVO'd that marathon, we are working through it.

Get this, I got my wife into "Gilmore Girls." She hated it at first, she's not a super girly-girl (like me I guess...). But it's funny and the dialogue is smart. That's my story...

I'm old enough now to not care about what I should and shouldn't be watching.

Reruns of "Little House"

Such nostalgia.

Plus, I usually only watch TV when I'm chillin' getting ready to sleep, or getting ready in the mornings. Sometimes (rarely anymore) on a Saturday during the day....
or while on vacay.

Wait. On second thought...

Speaking of Everwood (yes, that's it!), I used to love that show, and it was probably among the ones I watched most because it aired at a time and day when I was most apt to be home plopped on the couch.

I love going to bed early...

Don't Forget the Lyrics and that Skating with Celebrities show. Do I really need to justify why these are guilty pleasures?

I love My Name is Earl. I thought it would be offensive, making fun of the "white trash/*******" lifestyle, etc. I come from a long line of ********, and actually live in a mobile home, so I didn't think I'd find it funny.

Instead, it's frickin' hilarious. It's got to be one of our favorites.

Nuttin' wrong with that (as someone here who is addicted to that type of stuff as well)

My guilty pleasure was Dog The Bounty Hunter...don't know why, but when it was on, I just had to sit and watch for some reason. Then he did a Michael Richards with that cell phone diatribe and that was that
