Up early to take a friend to the train station. Was supposed to do the same for Saucon Runner, but she decided to drive instead.

I have slept like a rockstar the last several days! Yay! Saturday night I went to bed at 9:30 and did not get up until 9:30 am. Then the last two days I slept in until 6:15. Woo - I could get used to this not getting up early and running. I decided I am going to take a break from running this month. Run when I want. Sleep when I want. No pressure, no guilt even if I do not run another step this month. This will be my final phase of "recharge." Then I am going to start training in December so I can kick some marathon @ss in Spring 2011. That is the "official" plan at this point anyway.

RunningLaw: Sounds like your plan spells H.E.A.V.E.N. Good for you.

QOD: What do you do for FUN? other than running, of course.

QOD: Not much. That needs to change. That's why I'm asking. I get up. I go to work. I play/feed/drive/corale the kids and I sleep. I need more. I want to hear what you do. For inspiration.

QOD - crap. Not much lately. Work is kicking my butt, and I haven't done much beyond trying to keep the house from falling down and not grow farms of microbs. Well, I did go drinking last [email protected]!

QOD: I go out a lot...which lately means sitting on my couch doing nothing is a whole lot of fun. heh.

Actually, as you all know, I do a lot of work in community theatre, as a costumer and I love it. I just offered to assist my friend Troy (who was our wig man on the last couple shows I've worked on and he's wonderful, a former professional theatre costumer and ******.) I also go to shows, see bands (tonight, I'm going to see my friend Bleu...he's kicking off his new album tour in Boston), go out to eat, go to art shows.

I do a lot lately. Weird thing is, 10 years ago...I rarely went out.

QOD Even though you said running doesn't count, I do work out for fun. I find it very fun (most days). Other than that, though, I read, do crossword puzzles and sudokus, go to Flyers games, watch sports on tv, hang out with friends, play with my critters, subscribe to two theaters and go to shows with my mother, shop, get pedicures, play with my friends' kids, take an adult swim class at the Y, volunteer on an event committee and the board of a local Boys & Girls Club, and teach classes at 3 gyms. I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Winter that sounds an awful lot like what I do.

Fun: Well, I like to be involved with running things around town. Like helping out with the Fiddlers committee. But otherwise, I don't do a whole lot. Don't really have a lot of time for extra things. wish I had more friends around, but they all live away. And DH and I work different shifts, so we don't get a chance to spend much time together, either. *sigh*

Greetings, all.

Not fun: The time change is screwing with my sleep patterns. I was out before House finished on Fox last night. /grumble.

Qod: Uh... not much, it would seem. Occasionally I'll go out to lunch with mom or dad. Maybe every third blue moon that falls on a Saturday, I'll do the same with friends. Of course, playing with my puppies is always an amusing event. Otherwise - I'm rather a hermit/homebody.

Nice! Well about the new shirt... I wore a pair of my bigger pants b/c I didn't want to feel like fat ass in my regular pants. I def need to lose a few lbs. that I've let creep back on.

QOD - I'm a big fan of trying new foods, restaurants, etc. and experimenting with new recipes in my own kitchen, when I can. I'm also a pretty big book worm and love getting something new and heading outdoors (if possible) to read it.

QOD I read excessivly, knit, crochet, bake and cook, go out with friends everyonce in a while, I'm hoping to get elected to the Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation, and now hang out with Plow Boy. That's about all I have time for.

QOD: play with my sister's kids, work at the running store (more for fun, but also for the extra cash), drink beer with my running store friends, go into the city (drinking) with my philly friends. This is mainly what I've been doing, but I do all sorts of stuff.

Morning!

QOD: In addition to ferrying the kids around to all their activities, I am on our local school board (5th year). I'm also on the Board of Directors for a professional organization that meets in Albany 4 times a year providing staff development opportunities for educational personnel including a summer conference in July. I also love to cook and bake and read (chick lit - such a fun escape). And I've recently started playing around making beaded jewelry.
