Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Apologies in advance to those who recently nailed some great races (Yoshi, Kyle, Sparty) and have outstanding race reports for consumption. But this boy is too busy to comment wholesale like I usually do. As mentioned a few months back when things started getting busy, I'll at least read thread titles and come in and out of the daily.

5.65 mile run early this morning with the Diesel. Wanted to ride but, alas, a gentle rain was falling from the sky. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe not. Don't need it. So no loss.

Truly, huh? Some really awesome performances in LIT-Land lately.

Not for me, though, at least not today. Rest day.

5 mile run at lunch - about 8:30 pace. Thighs still quite tight from the rides - but otherwise not too bad. Unfortunately, regular running partner is on IR - running is so much more pleasant with company!

2800 yd. swim this morning. 1 hour ride planned for this evening. I am LOVING the weather in Texas right now! Finally!

I also would like to give congrats to all those who have had awesome races lately. I don't have much time to read or comment, but I'll scan now and then. Once I'm done training for this HIM, maybe I'll get a little more computer time, but right now, the training eats into my "getting stuff done" time, so I have to get stuff done instead of reading RR. In fact, I didn't even have time to write my last couple RRs. I will try to do better.

32 tough miles on the bike this morning. I have a touch of the flu and it is taking a tool on my. I struggled to keep up with the group and finally gave in and let them go. I was trying to maintain 21+ IB and after about 10 miles I was done. I think I may have been partially dehydrated from the medication.

Today is my mom's birthday! She is milking it for all she's worth.

DOR for me but I did have physical therapy this morning. Tomorrow I'm hoping for a short run prior to a post master's class I'm taking, and then work for the rest of the day.

Enjoy your day, everyone.

Lunch time: 2,500m swim...couldn't fit in the planned 3,500m. I felt really good for the most part.

PM: 45 minute run with some speed work thrown in.

Starting to get back into the rhythm following my wife's accident. Tomorrow I should be back on plan 100%.

My x-rays for L shoulder and L thumb were negative. However, L shoulder is still terribly painful to move and this pain takes a lot out of me. 3rd day of doing nothing. May try to run later. Doc said I have to keep moving it as much as I can and the swinging motion from running would help. Ouch.

So my 6am run got done at 3:40pm. Thanks work. Anyway, 4.6mile @ 1hr, ez sleazy. Shoulda brought my inhaler would have been easier. New shoes/orthotic - not bad. Good thing as my other shoes stink SO bad and that model is DISCO so I needed a new set...

Beth - way to go, nice pace for 30min!!!! Woohooo

Ron - wouldn't a separated shoulder show up on the x-ray? You were right - I went for 5mile run. The shoulder still hurts, but I feel much better. And this run was one of the best runs in the last few weeks.
