Morning all;

Forced myself out of bed and hit the roads for 8.35 miles precisely, as per Mr Garmin himself. Not exactly a spritely run. 65F and clear. It's going to be a tough week.

RA- glad you got the run in

I'm having to hold over at work, so looks like an USRD here.

My bluff trail run was a pain in the butt yesterday... I mean my butt is literally hurting today. Legs are fine though. I managed to get through the 3+ mile loop at about an 11 min pace, which I think is pretty good considering all the walking/climbing uphills I did. 5 miles total.

Running in circles for me this morning. Not sure what I had in the legs so wanted the option to bail at any time. Quads a bit sore but otherwise legs feel pretty good. Managed a nice steady run. Last lap some guy clad in all cotton jumped in my lane. Sigh... so much for a cool down. I had a bunny to chase! 5.25m, 45:19, 8:40pace.

Asics--nice even little trot there.

BBS--sounds like a kicker of a glute workout!

Morning all,

Busy day at work, and the man seems intent on foiling my plans for a midday 7. And it's a beautiful day out, too. Grrr.

Well I may just get my revenge later...cut out after my last meeting of the day and run further.

RA - 8.35 oh boy, the wrath of Chances, I can see it coming already

BBS - nice trails and have fun sitting on ice pack today.

4bm - that's a lot of track laps to just run without intervals or imaginary bunnies.

Dan - great job on stretching those run intervals...almost there.

kevin - sometimes it goes that way with the runs but you got it in.

I have my NYC marathon start information... I'm bib 5583 in Wave 1 (9:40am), Orange Start Corral 5. Orange start is listed as "sub-elite" men and women. Probably because I got a guaranteed entry by meeting the qualification standards. So, from now on, I shall be know as RunAsics: Sub Elite marathon starter. LOL.

As I suspected, no time for a midday run at work. But I got a nice evening run in at home after work wearing my BBS-approved hunter's orange adidas tech shirt.

I did the "7 mile" version of the neighborhood loop which is actually 7.xxx...tonight after adding some striders at the end it was 7.6 miles. 15 minutes of core afterwards.
