Legs feel pretty good. I can still feel it some in my quads when going down steps, I think that uphill at mile 10 followed by the steep downhill beat the quads up some on Sunday. Still, it feels like I can try for a few easy miles after work.

Mornin' <b>Scratch</b>. My legs are still a bit sore today. I think I'll take one more day off, and maybe go for an easy run tomorrow.<br><br>
I've got flights on hold to both Birmingham and Eugene. What the heck, eh? Two more marathons.... why not?<br><br>

Got a good massage yesterday afternoon, posted my RR, and I'm feeling pretty good. My left quad is still a bit sore, but that's about it...<br><br>
I wanted to say thanks to <b>2oh</b> for your tracking on Sunday. Sounds like it was a bit more frustrating than it should've been...

Got 3 on the mill again last night. Resting tonight.<br><br>
Question: (and forgive me if I missed a response to this in yesterday's thread). Can anyone who is in the know, offer some <b>advice about buying a wetsuit</b>? I'm planning on getting one Friday, and aside of the size of the material (2mm, 3mm- etc), corresponding with its ability to hold heat, I have no earthy idea what else to consider.<br><br>
Any tips would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all -<br><br>
Planning on some kind of exercise this evening after work. Maybe a run, we'll see if my shins (which magically mostly healed up on Sunday) are doing okay. My calves are uber-sore this morning, so if not running, biking in the hotel gym, a walk, something. Definitely feel the need to loosen up.<br><br>
Good runs to those ready to get back out there - those still feeling the effects of Sunday, hope it improves quickly!<br><br>

Hey all:<br><br>
4 miles easy on the TM last night, then some good stretching. Left knee was a little sore last night from the weekend, but feels 95% today. Overall feeling great. 6-8 tonight.<br><br>
Random thought from the weekend - did anyone else see that giant dead raccoon in the road around mile 10? I mean, I've seen roadkill in a race before, but that sucker was huge!

Tonight it's 3 miles on the treadmill for me. Gearing up for the 10K this Thursday morning.

Hey <b>Ptom</b>, I didn't see the raccoon. You thinking about coming out west to do the 10K at Brian's Run? Everyone is egging you on to do a official marathon and get timed, but you still haven't snagged an official 10K time either...

Just got back from a 3 miler. That was not fun.<br><br>
A long run for me Sunday afternoon where I set a pace record + late night cross training last night that included legs + 6 am 3 mile run = learned lesson in slowing down and just finishing! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Very Happy"><br><br>
It was a good priority lesson this morning but I made it fine. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.kickrunners.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">

I ran last night. Got out with my new running partner again last night - she totally rocks!!<br><br>
We have ANOTHER date for next Monday!! And, we committed to two other runs before getting together again.<br><br>
She is soooooooo good for me.
