Qod 1: Happy beady puppy eyes staring at me. those who are animal lovers understand, but my two little ones, although they irritate the snot out of me at times, can do the simplest of things to bring a smile to my face. Also, being accompanies on a run (or mowing grass, as was the case this past weekend) by a butterfly or dragonfly is pretty cool.

Qod2: (a) I'm borrowing RiL's answer - blow-drying my hair. I actually considered chopping it just two days ago, because although I love the length, I'm getting tired of the hassle! (b) borrwing Bob's answer - going to work! Don't get me wrong - I actually have it pretty good here. I'd be much happier if finances weren't an issue, where I wouldn't have to work and could work with a canine therapy dog to visit children's hospitals and nursing homes. t

KP - Lasik. Some people have had fabulous results. Others (and apparently more are being reported), like myself, have side effects that are pretty severe. If you can basically get around without your contacts in the case of an emergency (house catches fire in the middle of the night, etc), I'd avoid lasik. That's just my two cents from someone who has been there, done that.

RiL - wish I had some good words to offer as advice. Being an only child who hasn't had kids, I'm not very educated in stuff like this. Good luck!
