loopy--nice and steady there.

Easy run for me this morning. Started in the dark under a very clear sky. I forgot just how many stars there are. Decided to take my favorite route out of the neighborhood, taking the longer way IB. Not sure what happened, but towards the end of my run, it was pea soup fog. Overall, nice little trot. I think it was 6-ish around a 9-ish pace.

Morning [cough, cough] everyone...

Well, feeling better in regards to the Roid-tastrophe but have a pretty bad cold from being run down. Progress?

Loopy - I feel ya. Tomorrow's another day.

4boys - Maybe the Twilight zone? Doesn't take fog long to settle in.

Good morning! My run is scheduled for after sunset. I am meeting my relay team for a practice night run. I've never run in the dark with a headlamp before. Should be interesting.

Good morning everyone. I got out for 5 miles in 43:42(8:44). It was a slugish type run and the last mile I decided to pick it up and had a 7:30 mile. Now time to realax for a few minutes.

Nice job on all the running this morning.

Dan- I hope you get better soon. Sounds like you might be turning a corner.

Day 2 of rest. Turns out, thanks to Hawk's eagle eye, that DW's marathon debut actually qualifies her for Boston in 2012 since she'll be 35 by then. Woohoo! This morning I was contemplating finding another marathon in November to attempt a BQ for 2012. Of course, I could register for Boston next year or I could do the University of Illinois marathon, also in April but the thought of training over the winter again is just not doing it for me...

kfuller - nice job on the faster finish!

Jebba - Have run with nighttime practice. Headlamps are great, until the batteries go flat. I also have a red flashing light that clips on the back of the headband.

BBS - bastardos!

Dan - bummer about the cold. Take it easy.

4boysmom - niceish job with the ishish miles and pace.

Loopy - They can't all be good days. So, what's slow? 7mpm pace?

RA- Congrats to mrs. RA and Space Coast is a fast course (weather permitting) It is the Sunday after thanksgiving and there are enough people to have someone to run with or aim at, but not too many to be over crowded.

Me- 6 miles today at a 8:28 pace. I lady who was with her daughter (about 13) an a dog said to me as I passed her going the other way, "You have good form." I said, "thanks", but I almost said, , "Thanks and what do you think of my bio-mechanics?"

Good day all...

Well last night was a flop, meeting took longer than planned and at 8:45 I was whipped, so no run last night. Good news, tonight is another school night for DH so I have all night to fit my run in. I wouldn't tell him this but I am really going to be disappointed when internship is over and he will be home more often. I guess hopefully him having a paying job will make up for it.

Well, there is some serious ass kicking going on over here in PA because I just killed my intervals this afternoon. I was totally not feeling it when I started - it was warm, I had just eaten & felt like I would throw up, it was warm - so I decided to play a game and start my workout (2x3x800) with a 7:00 pace and whittle it down to a 6:30 pace. Yea, right. 3:30-3:26-3:17-3:11-3:13-3:01. Take that! Oh, 10.41 miles for the day.

Nothing for me today but meeting up tomorrow morning for an easy run. I went to the orthopod today and he thinks the leg issue is pirifromis related, though since it's been going on so long while driving/sitting he wants me to have an MRI to rule out a disc issue. If that's negative, he recommends more physical therapy with someone he's had success referring runners to. Fun, fun fun.

Loopy - nice 10 again!

4boys - spooky, hope you are tapering well

dan - I'd say a cold is better than the wrong meds, but hope you feel better

BBS - good luck tomorrow

jebba - day's are getting shorter, I think my lite belt will be coming out often this winter

kfuller - guess you wanted to get it over with

RA - hey, that's great about DW... my age group rolls over just a couple of weeks after Boston 2012

Mutt - so how was her form?

Apple - hope you got your 4 in

Jill - Wow. Just Wow.

Sorry folks, I don't have time to read through the thread currently. Day started at 5:40, drove ~50mins, observed in the classroom all day, back home for a 90min workout. 2x6min tempos, 10x Hospital Hill, and 4x1min hard (in place of the 300s we usually do). Sore all over, need to go lead our athlete Bible study, and study for a test that I haven't really prepared for at all yet. Yuck....

It'll all be over soon though. Have a good night people.

Good evening all,

I was at a conference for work all day so no time to post until now. After I got home from it, I headed out for a brick workout as the sun went down -- 12 trail miles on the mountain bike, then a quick change and it was back out the door for an easy 5k trot.

Looks like some nice workouts were done out there today. Jill, you're gonna have me looking over my shoulder soon, if it's not already too late.
