Good morning! I was up early for a core workout. I'll do a short run this afternoon.

Haven't checked in for a couple of days, but I've been reading the posts. Have a great day, everyone.

No running this morning. It snowed quite a bit last night, so I opted not to run in the deep wet snow. Will be back at it tomorrow though. I think we easily got 6+ inches of snow and the power went out once last night. I will most likely do a core workout today. Enjoy the morning everyone.

Jebba- enjoy the run later. Still streaking?

Kev- enjoy the rest, I do not want to mess with snow this time of the year

Plan on getting out for 5 miles w/ 2 of them @ 5K pace, my right calf is kinda sore though, so I may just have to feel it out.

fuller--uh, it's March. What's with the snow?!

BBS--listen to that calf.

Feeling better today. Decided to go ahead with the planned fishbowl workout, although it was an easy workout. 2500m. 500 pull buoy, 500 paddles, 500 kick, 500 paddles, 500 kick. Now comes the fun part--getting caught up on everyting that didn't happen yesterday.

4BM- March here means snow, rain, sun etc.... I expect to get more snow through April as it has done in the past.

Lots of snow and possibly a foot of the white stuff. Downed tree branches. Broken power lines in the driveway to the duplex in on the back of the property etc....

Letting my waffle settle before I get in the mood to do a core workout.

My schedule had 12 miles with 7 at pace. That wasn't going to happen this morning, especially after two nights of broken sleep since DD is still sick. So, 8 miles with 5 miles trying to hit m-pace after a sleepy 2 mile warm up. Splits as follows: 08:30; 07:58; 07:22; 07:07; 07:01; 07:03; 06:58; 07:48. I managed to aggravate a blister on my little toe that formed during my long run on Sunday. Not pretty.

4boysmom - nice swim

BBS - 5k pace with a sore calf = trouble.

kfuller - snow shoes?

Jebba - enjoy the shorty.

5 miles in 39:30. 30 seconds faster than the exact workout 2 weeks ago. 9:00, 6:33, 8:40, 6:42, 8:40. Calf never bothered me, but hammie feeling a little fishy now. Gonna snag some rest this week and hopefully bust out a PR this weekend.

Done with core workout, squats and various other stretching etc....

RA- Snow shoeing would be fun today. The next problem will be all the water in the next few days as it is suppose to melt quickly.
