<p>Not much to laugh about here.  My poison ivy (or whatever it is) is still kinda itchy.  But thank goodness it didn't spread too much.  I think I'll be okay in another day or two.  (Knock on wood). </p>

<p>If you've got any good vibes to spare, please pass them on to my wife.  Last week, one of her doctor's adjusted one of her medications, and she's been feeling rather out-of-sorts ever since.  Nothing serious, but it's been a little rough on her.  And the end result is that the doc just adjusted her back to where she was, so it seems like it was all for nothing.  But hopefully things can now get back to normal once she re-adjusts...</p>

<p>Class this afternoon and evening.  Of course, I'm not ready yet, but I will be.  Still having trouble getting enough sleep and feeling rested in the morning, not because I'm waking up in the night, but because I'm just not getting enough hours.  Must go to bed earlier tonight even though Glee (!) starts tonight and I'll be sorely tempted to watch.  I have to practice cello today too, since the music is really hard this time around.  Yikes!</p>

<p>Not Fun: Last night I got the call I was pretty much expecting from my ex, <span style="text-decoration:underline;">announcing</span> that they would not be taking the kids this weekend, they will be taking them the following weekend.  He said he felt bad since this was for DD's birthday celebration and all but.... yeah, but whatever it is you have planned is more important to you than your daughter.  I get it, and I think DD got it too. <img alt="" class="bbcode_smiley" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies//sad.gif" title="">  And never mind that I have plans this weekend AND next and this throws everything I planned off kilter.  I may call him back and say, NO, you actually can't take the kids next weekend, I already have plans in place so you'll have to figure out another weekend instead.   I'm just sick and tired of him parenting when it's convenient for him. And to be honest, the kids don't want to go.  DS spent a few weeks there this summer and he's had enough and DD really only wants to go for the presents.</p>

<p>I'm sort of laughing at myself when I attempt to go up/down the stairs here at work, as my quads are not at all amused from their beat down on Sunday.  (though I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat) Does that count as fun?</p>

<p>Great night sleep (yey! cool weather and down comforters!), and made myself oatmeal for breakfast (enough for a couple days.)  Brought it in to work, with chopped apples and almonds on the side.  Yum! </p>

<p>Last night, I went to the first read through for a show I'm costuming, called Freak Show.  Interesting play...it is, in fact, about a freak show.  Set in the early 1900s, and includes an armless and legless woman, a pinhead, a dog-faced woman, and a human salamander.  It is a pretty sensitive though, not exploitive.  Should be very challenging for me to costume, as we have NO budget and just a month before it goes up.  Fantastic cast, I have to say. </p>

<p>I got to talk to my boss today and unload on him which was nice ( for me not him).  I feel a lot better about what went down  yesterday and he will be handeling it from here. </p>

<p>Bambi ran into the back quarter panel of my car this morning and left a hoof print but thank god that's all.  In all of my years of driving I've only hit 1 raccoon and this year I hit a deer and a deer hits me.  I'm going to have to sell my car I think to get the attraction away from me. </p>

<p>Hi all-Super tired and stressed....I spoke at a conference yesterday in LA which went well but was nervewracking. Took 2 hrs to get back rather than the normal 1 so was going to be late to get M at daycare-also nervewracking. Ended up having a friends husband go get her. Luckily I got a decent nights sleep for once because this morning M woke up an hour earlier than normal- I was exhausted so I just let her play in her crib for a while....big mistake since she figured out how to undo one side of her diaper and had flung poop around her room...nice. Then my cat has yacked twice already this morning.</p>
<p>And I am in panic mode about having a baby in 5 1/2 weeks. I should really get some boy things...I'm so unprepared for this one.</p>
