Morning peeps

5 miles didn't go so well yesterday... don't know if it was from being sick, sinus meds, or just plain fatigue, but the first half was pretty tough, loosened up a bit in the second half.

Today I plan on doing a 5 mile tempo on the TM, with 3 miles around 7:10 pace. Only bad thing is, the TM is in the master bedroom where DW & DD are currently sleeping... they had a rough night last nite and I'm not sure when they'll get up..

Recovery run. Still feeling this past weekened but it felt good to get out there. Long 5.5 route, 9:15pace. Meh... I'll take it. Got back and was dripping with sweat. Picked up the hound dog for a CD walk. About a half mile into our walk it started thundering. Huh. Cut it short, and ended up getting caught by the rain. So much for mowing the lawn!

Morning all. I took yesterday off... work, running, pretty much everything. Back at it for the longest day of the year. PT this morning, then meeting up at lunch for an easy 4 and maybe track tonight.

BBS - you sound like you could use the rest

RA - good luck with the TM run

Morning all, time for another fly-by. Work is kicking my butt this week.

Club race this evening - a 4 miler in Georgetown - but the chances I'll make it to the start on time are between slim and none. Coincidentally, today is the official start of my training for the Chicago Marathon -- I'm 16 weeks out, believe it or not. Under the plan I'm "following" (I always tweak it a little) I was due for a quality workout today. I figured a little 4-mile race would work pretty well for that. But if I don't make it will instead do the prescribed workout -- 3 very fast mile repeats (6:00) on the track, with only a minute rest in between. Hmm...sounds hard.

Morning all.

Up early and put in I guess a bit more than 5 km. No symptoms, but I am excessively tired this morning. Will take it slow.

Have good ones all. And BBS? This too shall pass....

7.38 miles (precisely) on the TM. Thrilling to the end. Now I'm in a funny mood.

kfuller - yep, downhills will tear your legs up.

Grizzy - hope you have more symptom free runs...

Hawk - best of luck with the 6 min miles, be it on the tracks or at the races.

zrun - Got a hot therapist rubbing your glutes in the morning?

4boysmom - aren't dogs supposed to alert you to thunderstorms? Or is that returning planes in old war movies?
