Much as I don't like to run these days, it was one of those 5 milers that reminds me I can still do it ... gray and cool ... terrific running weather. First two miles went by at a 7:35 clip .... backed off a bit for the next two miles ... at 7:53 pace by mile four, then went 7:10-7:15 over the last mile to end up with a 7:44 avg.

I'll be paying for it tomorrow - but it was nice while it lasted.

pilates last night. instructor found all of my sore and tired spots from swimming and kicked my *ss. we ended with oblique v-ups and teaser. at one point during some mid-back work I had to stop (I just could not do one more rep) and she LAUGHED at me. I think her exact quote was, if you want to beat yourself up on your own time that's not my problem.

this is why I love going.

I got in a nice hard hour on the bike, inside. I need to check the whole thing out and get outside, soon, but not yet. As for my ride, i did some fairly moderate intervals. I think I've got a plan..
