Morning guys

Yesterday, me and BIL got out for a hot 3.5 in 28:00 flat. I guess we should have either ran earlier or picked a more shaded course, cause it was brutal out there. Afterwards, I got a little swim in, then last night I did some sprints dodging thrown fireworks.

Today calls for another easy 4 miler. Back to work tonight...

Nice job on the racing yesterday RA/Kevin

BBS - enjoy work and the easy 4.

kfuller - my legs felt the same. Good job pushing through.

Got out for 9.5 miles. 80s and uber humid this morning, just like yesterday. Struggled most of the way but pace ended up in my typical easy pace range (7:50 to 8:20 mpm). Time for the pool or beach.

I feel like a runaway train hit me today after a craptastic night of "sleep" last night. I don't know what the heck happened; I was plenty tired when I went to bed, then I just lied there most of the night looking at the ceiling. I think I got maybe an hour. Very frustrating. Plus I'm feeling sore from the long run yesterday.

I'll stumble through the workday like a zombie, then hopefully get the bike out for a short ride in the neighborhood this evening. If that doesn't get me tired enough to sleep tonight, I don't know what will.

BBS - have a good four

RA - yeah, the humidity sucks. Your easy pace is about what mine is normally but I'm pretty sure I was nowhere close to it yesterday, especially in the last 3 miles when I was beaten down by conditions and basically shuffling home (probably 9:00 miles).

kevin - way to tough it out last night at the race.

Sounds like everyone needs to take a rest and come back ready to hit the pavement running. I got in a 5 mile shakeout run this morning. I will be keeping my mileage low this week in order to give my legs and body a rest.

Have a great morning everyone.

Easy 4.5 this morning consisting of a couple of trail loops, it was warm by the time I got out there. Track is on tap for tonight, 6-7 1000s at 10k pace is on my schedule. Didn't sleep too great either last night after waiting out the fireworks, I might do the first few with son1.

Nice racing yesterday RA & kfuller and have a good one all.
