Asics--you know you are an athlete when you plan your meals around your workout schedule. And since I"m the cook, the family eats around my schedule!

loopy--sounds like a nice little trot.

Fishbowl for me this morning. Meh... I've just been doign steady swims. Today I added in two 500 sets of 50 hard/50 recovery. Not sure what's going on because time certainly didn't reflect the harder effort. Then again, I most likely miscounted on two of the other 500's (what is so hard about counting to 10?!) so it's probably more like 2600 or so.

Hey all,

Rest day for me. Too busy at work to run or post much, and I've got evening plans. Probably just as well since I seem to be fighting off a minor cold. It's not been bad enough to stop me or even slow me down so far, but my throat and sinuses have definitely been a bit irritated for the past couple of days. At least I still managed to have a really good progression good run last night.

That said, the day off today should definitely help. That and a good night's sleep, something which has escaped me the past few days.

Have good ones all.

BBS- Today it was 4 and I could have done more. I guess I will throw in a 6 miler later this week. Good luck with the 5 X 800. Do you have a race scheduled soon?

4 miles in 36:14 (9:03). It was a nice easy pace and actually quite enjoyable today.

4bm- nice job on the swimming. As for the counting, they have people do the counting at swimming meets on the longer races so they don't get confused. I think you are doing just fine.

RA- Nice job on the 7.1 this morning.

Loopy- Just as I am the steady 5 miler you keep cranking out the consistent 10 mile route. Nicely done. I think you officially win the best beardcile of the winter award.

Have a great morning everyone.

fly by post but heading out the door at 5 to go home, get the pup and sprint around town for a quick 3m. Clouds look dark with a feel of snow in the air.
