Morning party people

10x400 on tap for me today. I think it comes out to being 6.5 miles on the TM. Had a great run yesterday. 5 miles with a little over 1/2 mile of hill repeats. Actually went out a lil too fast on them, but felt great after a mile of easy running. Been wearing my heart rate monitor post Marathon. So far my average is down over 10bpm since early December, so obviously something is working.

Good luck out there

BBS--nicely done.

Fishbowl for me this morning. Had The Best swim. 2500m of back and forth, working hard but never overheated. Reason? Pool heater is broken so water temp was 76*. Love it!!!

Cinnamon rolls in my tummy, ready to tackle another tough vacation day in FL. Some sightseeing to do, 2 runs to get in, makeshift weight training since there isn't a weight room, and some reading. Hopefully I have an open schedule. :)

Workout done. 6 Miles total. Felt almost too easy... did the last 400 a littla faster. I think next week I'll bump the speed up a little and see what happens.

Also did some crunches and push ups.

Good morning everyone. Interesting day so far. I was taking my wife to work and saw someone had rolled their SUV off the interstate onto the street below. It looke like it was out of a movie. Enough of that though.

I got in 5 miles in 45:27(9:05). My quads are killing me though. I didn't think 2.5 weeks on no running would kill my legs so bad. I was doing some other stuff while resting from running. Anyway I survived the run and will go at it again tomorrow.

Morning, er afternoon, boys & girls,

I'm back at work today and just spent most of the morning unpacking my office which was moved while I was gone. The good news is now I finally have my own office...no more roomies! About time for that. Of course when I came in it took me about 10 seconds to decide I absolutely hated how the furniture was set up, so there began the re-moving. A couple of boxes will have to remain unpacked until tomorrow. I think I've done all I can for today...need to get some real work done now.

But first, it's time to go run, something I haven't been able to do since New Year's Day. 7-8 easy on tap for today. Temps are alleged to be going up to 47 today which would be nice if not for the Weather.com indicator on my screen that says it's actually 38. I packed for 47 so it could be um, a little brisk out there.

Back later. Have good ones all.

Hey kicksters! Not much going on here today. Didn't get early enough for my run and going out after work so I don't see anything happening today. Feeling sluggish but tomorrow will be another day.

Alex - enjoy the warm weather !

Hawk - welcome back to the east... just in time for some more snow end of week.

Goodstuff all and I look forward to reporting a more positive run Wed.

Back from the lunch run. Started out as an easy run, became a progression run, first mile in 7:53 and the final mile in 6:55.

I'm beginning to think the best thing I've done for my running lately was to ditch the heart rate monitor and run on perceived effort. Once I did all my paces started to drop.

Great weather today. Weather.com still says it's 39 out, but I was comfortable in shorts. And Apple, yeah I saw the long range forecast last night. Oh well, enjoy the nice conditions while they last I guess is all we can do.

Hi, gang. It's been awhile. Got a little discouraged around late spring last year but I am determined in the new year to do something about it.
Today was encouraging. Four miles, couple of challenging hills that I conquered.
Good runs, all.

Welcome back Baba! 30 mins of torture on the TM. Alternately felt like there was a spike in my foot and was ready to puke. Must be backtoworkitis. I live to run another day.
