Morning!

Not sure what's fun today. If I can get a hold of Dh's friend Brad, I might be going to their friend Josh's wake tonight (it's about an hour away).

Need to see if I can request another ticket for the Senior Open. I gave my dad 2 tickets, but all his golf buddies that he would want to take have died (oops) so I think Dh and I might go with him.

Wassup peeps?

Hi all - what the hell? It's raining right now. That's not news for most of the country at this time of year, but for us here, it's close to unprecedented. Typically by now, most of the landscape would be a dull beige just about now from the lack of rain.

Of course, they're predicting we'll seriously dry out with some 100s by the 4th of July, so goes our wacky weather. Of course, it makes for some spectacular conditions up in places like Yosemite, which based on these pictures, is somewhere I'd love to be right now

Glad to hear the good news for Papa Pfeiffer and congrats/good luck to your DD, Amy

Continued hugs to ((((KJ, Maureen, Prae, and any 30s folks who need 'em))))

Oh, just a weird factoid to throw at you - almost half of the days in July will be either Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays (15 total).

Throw in a Monday holiday (4th of July) and that means numerically there are more days to which to look forward than not (16 vs. 15; of course, whether that works out in practice is a whole 'nother matter...)
