Morning!

Started pouring here just as I was going to head out, so a few on the tm for me.

I was listening to sirius but had the tv on and saw a shaved-head, handcuffed guy in a courtroom with a headline about an accused streaker at the Cinci marathon. Um, Pacer, is there something you need to tell us?

Good morning! 4.33 recovery miles yest for me. Theres something about recovery miles that I love - the absolutely no pressure, reaally gotta run slow sort of thing. No run today as i'm working. Congrats again to our racers this past weekend - way to VTFU! I totally thought of voo during my race as well.

I am encouraged by my race sun - it was also a huge emotional victory for me. I am hopeful for what can happen as I continue to gain fitness and shed the remaining baby weight. In short, I am finally excited about running again

Nice running, gals!

I ran 6.5 miles yesterday at about 8:25 pace. I feel a little beat up today, so it might've been too much a week after the 50k. Meh, whatever. I'll take it easy today. Sooner or later I gotta get back into it for real, though. Maybe it would help if I knew what my next marathon was. I still think it'll be this, but I haven't made it official yet. Maybe I'm waiting to see if there's a big 30s meet-up in a state that's new for me. I know a bunch of you folks will be at TCM again, but with airfare the way it is now, I can't afford to be duplicating states at this time...

Crater Lake!!! We camped there and loved it! I would have to commit to the shortest distance.

Many congrats to Toye on joining the ranks of the marathoners!

Greetings, all! I have probably 4-5 on the TM to do tonight. At least the muscle soreness from the weekend is rapidly declining, so hopefully tonight's run won't be too rough!

Hey all. This morning I got up and caught up on a lot of chores around the house (I'll call that a lil fitness) and then rode the bike for a bit. I think the bike did help. My legs are feeling better.

Nice work everyone! Rest day (week) for me.

I looked up my race results and it is wrong. The chip mat at the start line did not go all the way across and I did not go over it when I ran through, so I have gun time rather than chip time. My Garmin was at 3:39 flat, but official result is 3:39:27. I don't really care because I still have a BQ, but those 27 seconds would have really mattered to me if I had the race I had wanted.

It's amazing to me that people can feel poorly and still pull a 3:07 marathon. Awesome, PC! And congrats to Mrs.PC, too!

Yay, missy!

I'm going to do some easy miles after work and then hit the studio for some hot, sweaty yoga tonight. Although I woke up a bit too dehydrated for my own good, I'm happy to say that the afternoon/evening of beer drinking yesterday hasn't affected me today

Hi all - planning to hit the hills of SF again today on an elongated power walk; ankle feels tons better.

Congrats to both of you PC and Mrs. PC on your racing day on Sunday!

One of the coolest things about the race orgs of Saturday's trail race (besides a good post-race food offerings and a fun atmosphere) is they have both 1) free race photos you can download and 2) some of the cooler medals around, many a lot better than some of the marathons I've done. This isn't from last Saturday's race, but its representative of what they offer

That is a nice medal Moonie. I like it when they actually try to make them unique.

Swim/bike brick is done. I wasn't looking forward to it, but it really felt pretty good. A problem I have is the chemicals in the pool make my nose just run like a facuet! Not pretty once I am on the bike. And I can't snot rocket worth a damn. Thank goodness I am indoors these days.

I read the story: I've run the San Francisco Marathon thrice (one full, each of the halfs) - I dare say I've never seen a nekkid runner in any of those three races
