2000 consecutive freestyle yards in the pool this morning.

Been waking up at 4am every day for the past week+ -- wide awake -- so I decided to get the swim done this morning instead of after work.

Nice swim solar! I have been the same way ever since daylight savings time. It's totally messed up my sleep.

I'm heading out for some miles in a couple hours. At this point, taking just one day off makes me feel lazy. Good sign I suppose, that I have some pent up energy starting to build. Can't wait for Philly.

barely had time for a run yesterday - just under 3. Then I went to lift. I thought I was going to die. I haven't gotten stiff yet today...give it time. Some kind of speedword tonight.

morning all,

I got out for a run late afternoon from the office. Wow it gets dark early out there. Then I went and got a one hour massage from the therapist that most of my training buddies use. Legs feel much mo better today. I'm thinking of running around lunch time today.

morning gang!

started week of the leg circuits last night (it's a twice a week workout, took about 20 minutes, 350 total reps) and 4 easy this morning with 2 hill sprints near the end. Feeling pretty good. Totally enjoying the great weather we're having: it's been in the 60s the last three days.

Morning all! Feeling pretty good today, only a little soreness. Planning to get to yoga tonight and flush out some of the remaining soreness junk.

Lora - nice swim!

Brandy - I was curious too if you would be in Philly. I'm going to try and get down to cheer.

3 miles this morning in the rain. At least it's not cold out there.

Wish I was doing Philly! I'm not sure, but I think the next organized run around here doesn't happen until new years day. Then the Hypothermic Half in February. I love the excitement that comes with doing something like that.

Maria - I will definitely be cheering at Philly -- but I have to leave the city by 11:15 am because I have to work at the running store at noon. Let's plan to hook up if you come to cheer!

Hi all - threw on my VFFs and alternated an easy pace with some walking to the Ferry Bldg. yesterday - about 2 miles all told before I made it onto the ferry. Got a little cramping in the arches late last night, but otherwise my feet are feeling fine.

Thinking of building up and running a 5K in these things early next year, and the post-work venture to the ferry is a perfect way to do it (with standard time back in action, it's a little too dark to run around in those things after I get home.) Might start back up with the upper body strength stuff today.

Nice swim Lora! Reminds me that I should check with the local pool to see if they've put the airdome back over top

Good runs, workouts and/or rest days to you all

Out of curiosity.. what's the max distance for the beastie to go? Either for a casual stroll or for when he's in a GOOOOOOgogogogogo mood?

I'm still snickering about your DH's comments yesterday regarding Gus trying to open the cabinet door to the food storage.

Today is just flying. Not much to report for running stuffs. Just an easy five miles last night. Little speedwork tonight. Just keeping the legs wanting to run fast. My legs feel pretty decent. I'm starting to get a wee bit excited.

RTFL - I think I'm doing a 5k in Chaska Saturday morning if you're interested.

Jill - Totally meet at the expo and/or lunch and/or shakeout run in the morning. I'm not familiar with the area at all. Just tell me when and where to meet.

Philly peeps - If anybody wants to do dinner on Saturday night, we have a couple extra spots at 5:00. Sounds like a pretty fun place for dinner.
