Morning...

RA - You chose work over running?

Hi gang. Just checking in. Feeling better. My thyroid was up where it needed to be even as I felt like crap again these past weeks. Doc decided to check my testosterone levels (no comments) which was a bit low so we're working on raising my levels. We'll see. Nevertheless I may START again and see what happens. Probably wait till this weekend. Will the fourth start be the charm? Will running return to Dan's life? Stay tuned.

Hope everyone's healthy and happy with their running.

Dan- Good luck with the return to running. I hope all goes well.

RA- Nice job on the TM.

I got out for 6.17 miles in 55:20(8:57). My numbers were all over the place today. It snow a bit last night and when I went out this morning a wind gust almost blew me over. There was frozen crusted snow on the shoulder of the road which made for slow going. I almost had a spectacular fall once bu made it home without hittin ght pavement. The wind at points was blowing very hard. Overall it was a good run.

RA- Gonna go for 9 tomorrow? Then 10?

Dan- You can do it. And I should know because I stayed in a Holiday Inn express last night.

Kevin- Running in the wind sucks. I always tend to run faster han I'm supposed to.

I am going to attempt some sort of speed work on the treadmill today. Probably will not be the scheduled 5x1k. We'll see how it goes..

Ended up doing an easy warm up mile, then did 2 miles @ 5K pace ([email protected] goal pace), followed by a cool down mile.

I needed that. Everything went great, I was tired after the 2nd mile, but I could have continued at that pace and that helps boost my confidence. Shins never cramped up either. Hopefully todays run will not show up on tomorrows shake out.

I think I am going to scrap my scheduled speed work for more runs like this for the time being. It sure did seem a lot easier today. Good thing I make my schedule in pencil

Fly by for me, busy day...

Planning on 10-13 today. The only question is whether it will be one TM run or two. It's windy as hell outside, and cold. So when's spring coming, again?

wow Hawk... kicked it up at the end. You were ending the run with a SFF :)

Well, I am no where near going to get out of the office at a decent hour so I may be doing a late night run and hopefully the winds will have died down before I go out there.

Hi, gang.

Another couple inches of snow, followed by rain. So it was another unplanned cross-training session clearing snow. Probably was due for a rest day anyway.

 Great to "see" you, Dan.

Good runs, all
