Morning eveyone...

Been up all night. My older dog is not doing well. I'm really not thinking he's going to make it. I'm exhausted and drained emotionally. Sorry to start your day with this but there's no one else to talk to this early.

For sure I'm not doing anything today.

Morning folks,

It's another cold & windy one here, lots of random ice patches too. This weather pattern is getting a little tiresome but I'll be out there for a lunch time run. I'm thinking at least 7, and maybe I can stretch it to 9.

Dan - sorry about the dog. We've lost a couple of our pet rabbits over the years and it's always tough.

4bm - have a good run later

kevin - sounds like you need to get a Kinect

zrun - have fun with the yoga bending

So sorry, Dan. But you gave him a great life...remember all the good times.

Afternoon run was done about 90 minutes ago. After going for a progression run yesterday, I figured today for sure would be an easy recovery paced trot. But that only lasted 3 miles or so - 8:44, 8:13, 7:57 - then it was time for some MP cruising in the low 7s the rest of the way. My legs felt good despite the chill & wind so I just went with it. Dressed perfectly on the bottom (wind pants over compression shorts) but the UA turtleneck under the light jacket on top was a little much, should have just gone with a tech shirt as the first layer. Ended up sticking the gloves in my pocket along the way.
