I ran in SC today too 3.5 miles. Remarkably, yesterday's platelets donation didn't affect me like it usually does--no drop in pace or feeling exhaustion.

14 miles on the TM today - Finished up with 5 x (6 minutes hard / 4 minutes easy) - Was planning LAT - but it felt more like Critical Velocity (CV) - Legs are toasty - but tomorrow is a recovery day

I haven't run in SC since Saturday.

I think today I will do some stationary bike before teaching yoga tonight. I feel pretty good again, not stiff and just a little sore.

In a week I will be running in ND/MN! I am going to personally challenge myself to see how cold I can stand outside running. Stay tuned.

Planning on 3-4 easy / recovery miles on the indoor track. Not very thrilling but it sure beats "ice-running" on the trail.

Hello everyone,

I'm another CoolRunning refugee.

Currently I'm in recovery mode after running Thunder Road Marathon in Charlotte, NC this past weekend. I ran a 3:21:08 and am pretty happy with that. Hopefully I'll be running again by the end of this week. At least that's the plan.

Hello, everybody!

I ran 4 miles on the treadmill today. My Ipod ran out of charge around mile 2. So, I did the last 2 miles as progressive. The harder work helped to maintain my concentration. All of that took me 43:14.

I'm trying to get to 1200 miles for the year. 74.6 miles left to go.

My previous post was eaten for lunch by the server I see ... will try this again ....

4.2 miles, in a slow 38:09 (9:05) The first mile was about 11:00 pace because I was forced up on the icy sidewalk by traffic and forgot to wear my ice skates for the run.

Followed by upper body weights.

Flounder, I could have used that nap today! Hi CMJHawk, or is it Hawk, or CMJ, or just 86? Nice race, congrats!

Hey everybody, I'm a Cool Runner/Kickrunner. I joined here a while back but
have never posted. So here I am, officially taking the plunge...

I'm in training for the Boston Marathon. My first marathon was the Omaha
Marathon 2007, back in September. My only goal was to qualify for Boston
with a 3:40. I ended up doing a 3:22:40, and coming in as the OA Woman,
so now I'm training for Boston 2008.

Today's report is different from my usual runs, as the Coolrunners here
will attest to. Here goes:

20 minutes @ 7:53

.50 @ 6:04
2 minutes @ 7:53
.50 @ 6:04
