I'll join the not sleeping/early rise group. It was too stinking hot to sleep. Rough time getting up this morning, but dragged my carcass out for an early morning slog. I rode my easy ride way too hard yesterday and certainly paid for it today! Legs were trashed. Oh well. 8 on the schedule, 8.6 is what I did. Run felt good, just slow. What was neat was I ran into a woman who really helped me when I started running--ie where to get "real" running shoes, walk/run program. Stopped home long enough to pick up a recovery drink and the hound and did a 2.5m CD walk.

The saga of my uber sexy van continues... I called the shop yesterday morning to tell them that something seized up so I was having her towed in. I figured tow truck would drop her off, they'd push her onto the lift. No......... The mechanic told me that they had a heck of a time with her as she kept stalling when they tried to start her. Why the heck did they even try to start her when I told them that something seized up?! Anyway, it was the syncronizer gear, or something like that. They showed me the metal chips, which I guess is not a good thing???
