speed workout this morning:
[email protected] k pace (7:45/mile), recovery jog 1 min,
[email protected] pace(7:20/mile), recovery jog 90 second
We warmed up 1 mile and then did the work (above) 3x. Cool down jog of .25 miles for a total of 5 miles.

My heartrate walking out the front door was over 100 already. So, I am pretty fatigued and I think I may be getting sick. I was really glad today's speed workout was a fairly easy one. Next week is a cut back though after 2 weeks of major mileage building.....so just gotta hold on a few more days.

Hey Grizz - slow run is better than no run! How are things feeling?

Had a 6 mile recovery run with 6x100m on the plan for today. Did just over an hour on trails with 6x100 or so on dirt road. Ahhh, life is good!

Only managed 1.75 miles today. The kids insist on napping at alternate times, and both seem to need alot of attention today. Oh well.

I did 6 miles on the treadmill. 5 miles running east, and the last mile at marathon pace.

The funny thing is, when I leave from my house, when I run west, I run east, but when I run east, I always feel like I'm running west.

Go figure.

4 miles on the treadmill. I just wanted to curl up under a blankie, but I made myself do it anyway. We had some rumbles of thunder, so I opted for the indoor workout.

Jen, thanks for asking. I'm okay. I'll try for 4 tomorrow and see.

To add insult to injury, based on recent times I was registered in the Corporate Challenge by my running buddies at work and had the fastest time for the company team predicted for the 10k (43 mins.). Ha! As if.

I pulled out of the official competition today - the race is in 3 weeks.

Cross-training today -- took spinning class. Indoors, no bra ice needed.
