Good morning all! I can feel a *little bit* of Fall this morning here in Michigan.

Ealy morning road bike ride with DH for 1hr, what a treat! We did hill repeats. I have to admit it - it is my very first hill repeats on the bike. Funny, it is an upcoming off road race (with lots of climb) that motivates me to do this.

Heading to Alabama (sorry Stitch, no time for meetup ) and the heat for business this PM.

Ok, really, you have got to talk to your business people and impress upon them the importance of your triathlon social life. Don't they understand???? lol

Tempo today, for first time a pace less than 12. Yay. Now, to hold tha tpace. I'm just hoping that I can keep it.

First week of classes this week, so workouts are all messed up. Meetings, workshops, and "crises" (theirs, not mine....imagined, not real) to handle.

Needed sleep this morning after staying up later last night painting the trim and doors in our house, so I have to put off my swim until after work.

Lunch - Run - 1:00 Z2 - at :10, insert 3 x 6 minutes Z4 with 2 minute recovery. It is supposed to get hot again this afternoon (90F+), so I am not looking forward to it.

After work - Swim - 3,000 yds. I will be able to do my swim in the outdoor pool which is so much better than at my gym. Looking forward to it.

Good morning, TEAM LIT!

Yoshi: Way to kick the daily started! And hey, no sign of fall here in New England. Sticky humidity this morning and all day. No complaints though, because I love summer!

Reg: Went by Cocoura (sp?) a few times when I went up to Mt. Washington (twice: training run and race) and Cranmore. Admired the mountain from afar. Quite beautiful, even from the highway.

5.65 mile typical Tuesday run early this morning. Each week at half way through out little run over the same route we see a group of cyclists gathering beside the road waiting for slower ones to catch up. Our very own MasterOfSomething (aka the Mayor) often rides with that group even though not on Tuesday mornings. This morning I noticed a familiar face in the crowd: my ortho doctor! He was a bit surprised to see how quickly I bounced back.

16 mile ride. Computer battery died. No idea how fast.

Good morning folks. Thor, I can image that the doc was surprised to see you, and most likely just shook his head. While I didn't ride I did get out and ran. Y ride and it was very muggy. At the end of the run I added some hills over by the high school. I am currently using a Garmin from a friend who is injuried (bike accident) so I got back to the Y and it was 5.84 so I added some more to get to 6. These things are evil.

Started the morning with PT. Way back in June, I nailed my calf with the van door. There's scar tissue that needs to be stripped. Yep. Hurt like hell!!!

Very uninspired 2500 in the fishbowl. I'm ready to get this silly 70.3 DONE already!

Good morning!

Nice 3 miles yesterday afternoon in the considerably cooler afternoon! This makes me happy. Today is a swim, but it'll have to be this afternoon sometime... sleep was more important this morning.

And hey, nice job on the rounding the digits off. BTW, we talked about you and your new job cutting into your workouts. :)

Bike commute home in the hot hot heat this afternoon for me, FIB a 5-7 mile run depending on just how hot it is out there by that time. Might also try to sneak in a short swim, as my swim workouts have been non-existent lately. So have my bike workouts, but at least they're starting to come back around.

Steady bike today. I'm not sure where or what as two of my two go-to routes are now out of commission due to construction. I sure wish "they" would have asked me before closing these routes down. "Sigh"

I've decided that my race this coming Sunday will be my last for the season and my focus will be fun. I think I'm just burnt out and ready to focus on one or two things for a while. I'm going to do some fun things- backpacking and a bike tour, hanging out with my friends, etc. I am going to structure my off-season this time around to so as to focus on running as well as my strength and flexibility. I'm really looking forward to this!
