Hi gang, just wanted to let everyone know to go check out the POTD today. It's one of our own and dear, Mustang Sally.<br><br>

Another rest day for me today....this is getting to be a bad habit. <img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>
I feel pretty good this morning and I think that I might do an easy run tomorrow.<br>

Hally, thanks for the heads-up about MS's POTD post. Also, thanks for mentioning the VRAA Team Profiles thread. The whole thing is a really fun read!<br><br>
Recovery day to prepare for a big training week.<br><br>
6 miles in an hour. Average HR 119 BPM.<br><br>
Very windy! Nearly stopped me a couple of times.<br><br>

Breger we've got the same winds here too. Yesterday and today winds 25-30 and gusts up to 55 -60. What was suppose to be an easy 8 miles turned into quite an effort. Will pick up 4 more tonight on a treadmill. Have a good Tuesday all.

Good morning. I felt really draggy today and had an unenthusiastic workout.<br>
1 mile w/u & c/d walking.<br>
2.5 miles running on the treadmill, with elevation<br>
15 minutes stretching.<br><br>
Meh. A sloggy workout is still better than no workout.<br><br>

Morning. I woke up with a headache & thought I was just tired. I should've paid attention to it, but no I still went to the gym. I did the 1st of the second week - 3/3 run walk - 4 times & tried to do some weights. Shoulder is out of whack so that didn't work too well <img alt="sad.gif" src="http://files.kickrunners.com/smilies/sad.gif"> On the runs, I seemed to having bronchiospasm issues for the first 2 minutes, and the last minute felt fine on each of the intervals & felt whooped when I got home. So, took an aleve for shoulder & a hit on the Symbicort for the bronchials.<br><br>
Really it wasn't that I wasn't ready for the run/walk today. It was just a bad breathing day. The next time HAS to be better.<br><br>
Tom - {{hugs}} hope the body cooperates soon.<br><br>

I just went easy peasy 8 miles this morning at a 7:57 pace,with only one little hill at the end...<br><br>
DW and I have been married 13 wonderful years today...How come when I say that,she rolls her eyes?

8 miles this morning in bright sunshine, mid 20's. The wind died down so that was nice. 1:06:55 (8:22 pace).<br><br>

Stinky deer run! (plus water tower and parking lot) We haven't run this route in SO long. There were 8 of us running but 6 of them were way ahead of me. Ralph stayed with me because it is not a well lit route. He took off the last mile and I picked up the pace, too.<br><br>
I am happy because my average pace was 10:01 for 7 miles. That was a nice confidence builder. Before this asthma business, my happy pace was 9 minutes... 10 is the new 9...<br><br>
That's okay.<br>
We play the hand we're dealt.

Hey FF, my knee is feeling much better. I was going to run this morning but it didn't work out... maybe this evening. I'll be ready to go long on the 29th!
