hi guys! back from flagstaff... enjoying the oxygen down here at 2500 ft in tucson.

10mi ez 8:30 pace...warm morning, compared to weekend...

...where it was cold, rainy and cloudy in flagstaff. ah, wonderful! great escape from the bright blazing sun. ran the trails in flagstaff... very nice and extremely convenient. sunday it was rainy and blowing wind, but i think i spotted ryan and sara hall jogging down the other direction... although they were both bundled up (saw both of them in san diego last june with significantly fewer clothes). monday i barely caught up to a young lady running the trails... i was convinced she slowed up... we chatted a little, and then her garmin beeped and then whoooshh... she dropped me like a cement truck. she ran 6:30 for the first uphill mile (i ran 7:30) and then she disappeared into the forest. real weather, nice trails, fast runners and the joys of 7000 ft elevation made for some fun miles up there.
