Good morning,

By late yesterday afternoon, I was feeling pretty crappy and I feel even worse today. I've been hit with that cold that's been going around. No run or other workouts for me today or tomorrow. I've got to get healthy quickly as I'm heading up to RI to care for my mom, who's undergoing surgery, early next week. I'm gulping down the Vitamin C as I type.

I hope all of you have a great day. It's beautiful and sunny and cool here ~ just perfect for workouts! Too bad I'm under the weather. I'll try to leave work early if possible and crawl into bed with my puppies for some extra warmth and a little nap.

2000-meter swim - hard to get back to it after the last 2 weeks of craziness but oh so glad I did. I'm definitely addicted to exercise and feel so awful when I don't! Hope you feel better soon, Susan.

Great masters swim this AM.

Then I ran in the afternoon and pulled my calf. No running, can't even walk, biking is out... hello pool. I think it somehting that started on Sunday. No worries though, I'm not training for anything. Better now than next year. I figure I'll get my injury out of the way early! I was helping someone train for a half marathon though and was going to pace them, maybe I'll be back in a few weeks.

Scott - didn't you have a calf issue a few months ago? Hope it is not recurring issue....

8 miles incluindg 5miles at LT pace. What a difference from the last week's LT run which was 2x2miles. Today's pace was a little slower but felt stronger throughout and big negative split. I think I am in for a half in 6 wks!
