FB Wish I had your speed!

Durt I never could run just before bed, even though I'm tired after the run I can't fall asleep.

Me First of two today. 10k of hills and ice at a slow pace. Feel a bit sore. Another 4 miles or so this afternoon / evening.

Have good runs all.
Missed yesterday so legs were pretty strong today. I managed 5.85 miles on the TM. Started with 5 min at 5.3 mph and increased by 0.1 mph every 5 min until the final 5 at 6.4 mph. It was a way to relieve the boredom.

I may have to go to town tonight. If not, I may do a threshold run tonight. Otherwise I will try for an outdoor run in Smithers before dark.
Yup...big cheers for some wtpj-free miles.
Even tho the last 2 were icky, I was happy with the first 8.

Nice workouts today, everyone.

I did the same workout as WTPJ. 10 miles on the treadmill. 5 were at Tempo pace (7:55-8:00). My legs felt very strong and energized.

Lately I've been struggling a lot with my mental toughness and also with motivation. To work on the mental aspect, every time I started thinking it felt "hard" or something else negative during the Tempo miles (which wasn't that often actually) I increased the speed temporarily to make myself "work harder" when I start to get into a less positive mindset.
Hi again all, and welcome redkite.

4.1 as a second run on the dreadmill (I brought shorts thinking it would be warmer than it ended up being). 36:53.

Tomorrow a 14 miler, but I'm sore today so I imagine it will be very pokey. But pokey is good.
Some great workouts out there today! Keep up the awesome work folks!

47 degrees tonight was warm enough for me to break out a pair of shorts for my hill repeats! My body appreciated the warmer air.

When I got over to the hill, my body seemed to say "Hey, we've been taking it slow and easy too much lately. Time for a fast night!".

The sidewalks were still impassable in Burlington, and it made for a very interesting .75 mile stretch during both warmup/cooldown. Running on a state highway is not fun!

Legs felt great today, except that stubborn right glute muscle is still a bit sore. I don't think tonight's effort will help that too much!

Run Segments
I hope you all have a good/safe run today!
How can I go after EQ?

I did a measly 1 mi on the 'mill because of some bad WTPJ issues -- which is very unusual for me. Hope tomorrow is better!
